- What is ChannelFix?
- A bunch of guys got together and decided there needed to be a better way for the small guys -- guys like you and me -- who have a great idea but don't have the capacity to get people to see it! We're not the type of guys who are ever going to bang down Hollywood's door, it just isn't the kind of people we are. So we threw together some $$ and created ChannelFix: a place where your production gets seen regardless of who you are! Because ultimately a good idea, is a good idea -- and I'd rather watch good ideas than be forced to watch the crap they keep showing on network TV.
- Why are there commercials?
- ChannelFix shares advertising revenue with the creative people who make these wonderful videos you're watching. We appreciate your support by watching the commercials. Without the commercials, we couldn't continue to breath life into these great ideas you see. The money ChannelFix makes enables us to launch Pilots into Channels, creating the future content of the stuff you (the viewer) voted and said you want to see! And remember, we only do 15-second-commercials...so please just sack up and watch em!
- What's the difference between PILOTS and CHANNELS?
- Pilots are rough pieces put together by people all across the world. They come to us uploaded to our site from anywhere, from ranging budgets, to ranging skill-sets as production artists. All we ask for are great ideas. Then you, the viewer, vote on what you want to see more of. At the end of the day, we take the highest voted Pilots and turn them into Channels by working with the Production Team to establish what they need to turn their Pilot into a full-series of episodic content (money, equipment, location, writers, etc.)
- How do I vote which PILOTS become a CHANNEL?
- Simple! Register on the site, and vote! When you're logged into ChannelFix as a registered member you will see the ability to vote. Your votes matter!

- How do I sign-up to become a viewer?
- Simple! Just go to the top-right portion of your screen and opt to sign-up. It will take less than 1-minute. And there are numerous additional features you get as soon as you sign-up.
- Why bother signing up? I can just watch anyway!
- True, you can watch for free. But its also true that signing up is free. And what do you get when you sign-up? First and foremost you can opt to "SUBSCRIBE" to your favorite Broadcasters, and will be notified via email as soon as they upload new or additional content, meaning you'll be back on the site watching your favorite stuff that you opted-into. Additionally, when you sign-up, and are logged in on ChannelFix.com, you can vote on your favorite Pilots. Enough votes on a Pilot and we will turn it into a Channel, so by signing up and enabling yourself to vote, you can directly impact which content will be developed for ChannelFix.

- How much data does ChannelFix store about me? I have heard a lot of crazy news lately about other sites monitoring everything I do!!
- Very little. We do have cookies on our site. And when you sign-up we do collect some relevant information like Date of Birth, Sex, etc. We use this information to show relevant commercials to you. We NEVER sell any of your information. We NEVER track any of your experiences outside of ChannelFix. To be quite honest: sites that do that are F&@%-ed up. What you do when you're not on ChannelFix doesn't matter to us. But we hope you never leave because our content is kickass!
- What is a CHANNEL?
- Channels started as Pilots. But enough viewers watched the Pilot and said "Yes, this is totally awesome, I want to party and watch more of this content because it makes me happy." We listen. ChannelFix calls the Director of the content, and we workout how to make MORE. What do they need? Money? Equipment? Writers? Locations? We make it happen because our viewers demanded it! So, essentially, a Channel is the content our viewers demanded to see!
- Is the revenue generated from the commercials shared with Broadcasters?
- Yes, and we have an aggressive revenue-sharing model. Every time you watch a commercial you are putting ACTUAL money into the hands of the people who created the content. Seriously. Every time!
- How do I vote on which PILOTS should become CHANNELS?
- Simple! Register on the site, and vote! When you're logged into ChannelFix as a registered member you will see the ability to vote. Your votes matter!
- Does ChannelFix really listen to my vote or do they pretend and secretly not care?
- Dude, we care. Seriously. We're so sick of watching the crap on network TV that we promise to never, ever become the big-time network pricks who starting ignoring what WE wanted to see and ran full-time re-dos of the same shit-ideas. We want you to vote. We want to hear your voice. We want you to come back to ChannelFix everyday to watch the stuff that makes you happy!

- How do I register?
- Simple! Just go to the top-right portion of your screen and opt to sign-up. It will take less than 1-minute. And there are numerous additional features you get as soon as you sign-up.
- How much money can I make?
- Billions. Seriously. Well, probably not, but technically the sky is the limit. You will make money for EVERY FULL commercial view seen though. Even the FIRST commercial scene pays. Obviously the more commercials scene, the more money you make, so promote your material: tell your friends, family, mom, dad, grandma...everyone! Blog about it. Throw it on FaceBook. Get wild.
- Can I embed my videos on ChannelFix on other sites (my own Site, Facebook, etc.)?
- Yes, you absolutely can. All our videos come with a very simple share feature which will give the direct embed code to embed on FaceBook, your own website, your own blog, or anywhere you've ever wanted to put it. Its pretty simply.
- Will I make commercial-revenue if my video is embedded and viewed on another site (my own Site, Facebook, etc.)?
- Yes, there will still be commercials, and you STILL get paid for every commercial shown. So throw it up on FaceBook, or your own website, and sit back and start making money when your family and friends view your content.
- What if I don't like the commercials being shown on my content?
- Well, the commercials we show directly impact the people who put time, effort, blood, and heart into their productions. And with enough viewership, you can launch their Pilot into a Channel, a full-blown production. Because we're trying to create more and more content that YOU WANT TO SEE, we need to pay for bigger productions...for that reason we MUST show commercials to offset the costs of delivering the productions you want to see.
- Are their minimum requirements for number of commercials?
- Yes there are:

- Who owns the content I upload?
- You do. You own it 100%. ChannelFix does not take ANY part of ownership or anything like that. It is your idea. You maintain 100% rights to it.
- Can I take the content down at any time?
- Yes you can. At ANY time you can take your content down (as long as their is no outstanding balance on your account which can happen if we have cash-advanced your project, meaning we paid you to create a project for us.)
- How many categories can I put my content in?
- At this time, you are only allowed to put your Pilot into one category and it can not be changed. So choose wisely!
- How much do I get paid per commercial view?
- When you create a Broadcaster account, you will see our MINIMUM pay per commercial. Because market-commercial-rates are always fluctuating, you can potentially earn much more. But we will show you the MINIMUM pay you will make per full commercial spot.
- How do I withdraw money?
- Simple: Paypal. When you create a BroadCasting account, you also tell us which PayPal account you prefer to be paid out to. When you make a withdrawal request, it can take us three-to-five business days to process the request. All funds will be sent direct to your PayPal account on record. Don't have PayPal? Sign-up. Or wait for us to get a new payment method. Or, if you're super desperate, email us and we can figure something out.
- How long does it take to receive the money?
- Withdrawal requests are processed within three-to-five business days from your request. Money is delivered via PayPal.
- Who picks where the commercial-spots go in my content?
- YOU DO! When you upload content, you determine where to put commercials. Pick wisely...as a Broadcaster you want to make money so its important you pick spots that will get the viewer to keep on watching! Plus we only do 15-second spots, so they're not that bad!
- What if my content contains copyright-violations (songs, clips, still-shots, brands)?
- You should only upload videos to ChannelFix that you made or are authorized to use, and or, redistribute. Never upload videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without the necessary auththorizations.
- Is there a minimum duration for submission?
- Yes the MINIMUM duration for content is 15 minutes. Anything less than this will be rejected on grounds that it is NOT long enough,
- I submitted a piece but don't see it on Channelfix.com, why?
- We have certain criteria we use to determine if your submitted piece should become a Pilot on ChannelFix. Length, production-value, content, episodic-structure, originality...these are all elements. Is there a secret recipe for guaranteed success? Absolutely not. Is there a secret recipe for guaranteed rejection? Absolutely not.
- What does it mean to become a CHANNEL?
- It means you did something kickass, and we want to turn it up a notch. We want to throw production value, money, equipment, maybe even a helicopter or 2 in there... We will sit on the phone and even try and meet you in person if you aren't creepy. We will make a HUGE COMMITMENT to you, and your project. We really want to create greatness, and your idea has it. We just need to discuss what's missing to make more!!
- What happens if my content becomes a CHANNEL?
- Hopefully you had your phone number accurate when you signed up, or check your email often. Because we will be calling, emailing, and pestering you until we can sit down and figure out what it takes to make your Pilot a HUGE PRODUCTION!
- What does ChannelFix give to Pilots that become a CHANNEL?
- Money. Production value. Equipment. Writing. WHATEVER YOU NEED! But ultimately we guarantee one thing: MASSIVE EXPOSURE!
